Amanda & Shaun
We are Amanda & Shaun, the proud parents of Callum. One day he will realise that we're weird anyway, and that it is not his doing!!!
We have known each other since around 1983, when we were aged around 12 and 15 respectively. We got together officially in May 1987 and were later married in July 1990.
We always wanted children, and, in 1991, we decided that we would like to try for a family. Unfortunately, our desire for a family was met with many difficulties ranging from miscarriages to lengthy spells of infertility due to health problems.
However, here we are now. It took 12 years for us to get our happy ending, but it was worth the wait. Nothing can take away the pain and anguish that we have been through over the years, but one look at Callum, and the past stays in the past, and we look forward to a happy and healthy life with our perfect little baby boy.
