FEBRUARY 2008
Well, February can only mean one thing... "A day out with Thomas" at York National Railway Museum. Although Callum mainly plays with his cars now, he still has a soft spot for Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. As he was now old enough to join in, we asked Nicola if she would like bring Bradleigh along too. They had a fantastic time. They were so giddy playing together. When we got home, Callum went back to playing with his trains for quite some time. We celebrated three birthdays this month, Callum's Grandad's, Ryan's and Rob's.... all within the first 8 days of the month! I was quite touched this month. Callum came home from school one day with a daffodil that he had been growing. They had all been doing growing them ready for Mother's Day, but we had to have them a little early as they were all coming on so well. I can't believe that he kept it quiet and didn't spill the beans! It was lovely, it was all done in connection with Marie Curie Cancer Care and the kids had drawn & written on little banners that were wrapped around the pots. I've put a picture of my prized daffy in the Photo Gallery for you to see. Callum has surprised us lately by regularly asking to Learn Spanish. He seems quite determined, but it will probably be a passing fad, so we'll wait and see. As the month ends, we are anxiously waiting for news from Anna and Paul, the baby is now overdue. Take care, Amanda xXx
